Waiting

Learning to wait is not easy
To patiently sit until time
Will let us know to move forward
And take on the next thing in line

Some never wait for the season
Or a literal change in their mind
To challenge the next thing their reason
And master whatever they find

Maybe learing to wait is the wrong thing
To do while we wait for a sign
While fortune and fame and the brass ring
Go to those who did not wait in line
