anger is a disease and a drug
it makes you sick
as it gets you hooked
brings you down
while it eats you up
fuels your fire
douses your desire
and feeds your ire
but no matter how hard you try
to tame that beast each day
the cage is opened
with a simple glance
or word said the wrong way
