Mosquitoes And Gnats And Rats And Bats

some things in life are just a nuisance
more bother than good and more splinter than wood

those things are small and rather sickly
they get under your skin and become very prickly

they steal away everything that is nice
and leave you only with maggots and lice

so much of life will turn out bad
that the few good things are a reason to be glad
