The Real Meaning of Life

once I thought the real
meaning of life was
to do good things and
be a good person

now I know that is
not enough
for good thoughts
and good deeds
are only part of the
reason why we are here

a good deed that does
not serve the greater
good may not be a
good deed at all
if it is not part of
God's higher call

The Creator Has A
Master Plan is a
song more
beautiful than many
will ever know

and yet we fight our
destiny and we deny
our God and question
why those so far away
are willing to die for
God and live their
entire lives with
almost nothing

The Creator Has A
Master Plan that will free
all our souls from the
burden of living a
life without meaning
if we only listen
love and serve God
