Chasing Her

To those who say follow your passion

And all your dreams will come true

Think that by chasing an action

Good things will happen to you

For some it is easy and the fire burns bright

Others like us have no spark

Some passions make people shine like a light

While others remain in the dark

Passion the muse is tricky no doubt

Who only inspires a few

She gives to some and leaves others out

Like she did to me and you

So while some will listen to what others say

I will ignore them instead

The person who says follow your passion today

Will likely end up dead
