When Men Cry

does anyone really care
when men cry
maybe if someone did
the world would be
a much different place

awkward silence
would be replaced with
a steady stream
of emotions

world leaders would gather
and share handkerchiefs
instead of hand grenades

sabre rattling would be
replaced with sobbing leaders
and wars would only be fought
if a good long cry did not
make everyone feel better

which when you think about it
would probably not make the world
a better place after all

maybe it is a good thing no one cares
